06 Your exact amount

Why your iPhone SE PTA tax may differ

Your PSID can differ from this page for three reasons.

The value Customs uses

We use the Customs value for a new iPhone SE. If your invoice is higher, Customs uses the higher value. Used phones are valued under a separate Customs ruling and can be lower.

The dollar rate

Customs converts the value at FBR's notified rate on the day. Each Rs 1 change in the rate changes the iPhone SE tax by about Rs 47.

Your filer status

On CNIC, non-filers pay double income tax: Rs 970 more on the iPhone SE. Passport registration has no income tax.
